People become parents for many reasons. Not the least of which is to mess with their children. And every time I see this ad, I can’t stop laughing.

Halloween costumes can cost a bundle and then never get used again. So when my daughter said she wanted to be a witch, we set out to find regular clothing items that we could make into a costume and then slide into her regular wardrobe. We found everything we needed for less than $25 and most of it she’ll wear again.

It’s starting to turn cold up north and my Midwestern raised body is telling me it’s time to switch gears from sleeveless to sweaters despite the warm temperatures outside.
